Hi,

I just upgraded my site from Ez Publish 3.2-4 to 3.4. However, in the admin the hyperlinks for all folders under the root directory are not working. They are pointing to the admin site root. The 3.2-4 version uses content/view/full/node_number and 3.4 I think is using url_alias. Please help me how to fix these broken links. Also, whatever changes I do in the admin templates does not change the admin area. Is this becuase of some errors in upgradation?

Thanks
Mahesh

The first thing you should try is to clear the cache in eZ publish. I'm not sure what's happened during your upgrade but it might be that the pages are cached with some old content.

In 3.4 we uses template compilation by default so when you are doing development on templates I would recommend that you disable template compilation. Then re-enable the template compilation once you're done with your template changes.

You also should re-compile the templates once you're done with the changes. This is done with the script;

 bin/php/eztc.php -s siteaccess

Hi,

I have cleared the cache. But, whatever changes I make in the admin templates are not displayed in the admin. Also I noticed that for the folder "Resource Languages", it shows the link for it as http://domain.org/ages. This is the last four words of the folder name. It seems to cut off the first few words. All other folder names are short and they are showing the link of main directory of admin site. Any idea, why this is happenning?

Thanks

I'm not sure what's happening. I've not seen something like this before I think. Some things to check:
- If running an PHP Accelerator -> restart apache and clear it's cache files if any
- Do an eZ publish clearcache with the --clear-all parameter
- Check that your MatchOrder in SiteacessSettings are correct
- Check that the disk is not full.

Hi Bard,

I traced out the problem. The problem was that there were no write permissions to the template.

Ahh, this could be one for our FAQ once we get that up and running.

Great that it works now.
