FROM Customer:
we are currently upgrading to eZ 4 from eZ 3 and noticed now that we got some problems with our paths and overrides. We are using about 15 different languages. In the new system we also want to use the new urlalias system iri.
In the past we where used to set an override like this
[left_column_top_images2]
Source=left_column_top.tpl
MatchFile=left_column/top_images.tpl
Subdir=templates
Match[url_alias]=contact
Since now it looks like we need to amp stuff for each language
English
[left_column_top_images2]
Source=left_column_top.tpl
MatchFile=left_column/top_images.tpl
Subdir=templates
Match[url_alias]=Contact
German
[left_column_top_images2]
Source=left_column_top.tpl
MatchFile=left_column/top_images.tpl
Subdir=templates
Match[url_alias]=Kontact
and so on.....
AS you can see this is impossible for us to maintain this. What is the preferred way in doing this?
Ideally we need would like to use for example the tree path identification string or Some numeric representation "/2/123"
