installation of ezfind extension

Hi,

I'm new user and i try to install ezfind extension in ezPublish and i have some problems. I work on Ubuntu 7.10, my version of ezpublish is 4 for linux.

- First, i have installed jre on my computer and when i execute the command

java -jar start.java

it seems to have no problems but when i try to access http://localhost:8983/solr/admin, i have a error :

HTTP ERROR: 404

NOT_FOUND

RequestURI=/solr/admin

I don't know where is the problem....

- Second, when i try to execute the command:

/var/www/ezfind$ php extension/ezfind/bin/php/updatesearchindexsolr.php -s fr_admin

there is the response :

Starting object re-indexing
Enter path to PHP-CLI executable ( or [q] to quit ) 

I'm a novice in using linux operating system, and i don't find where is the PHP-CLI executable, do you know where is it ?

hi, if the script doesn't recognize your php-executeable look into php.ini.

remove exec and shell_exec from disable_functions. then it should work.

maybe afterwards you should put exec and shell_exec back into disable_functions for security reasons.
