Hello, ive got a small Problem. I am new to ezP and tryed to install some extensions. I use 4.0 and all extensions are 4.0 compatible. My problem is, that every time i activate a extension over the ezPublish Admin/Setup/extensions menue, there appears an error Message:
<i>Fatal error: eZ Publish did not finish its requestThe execution of eZ Publish was abruptly ended, the debug output is present below.</i>
If i press the Back button on my browser, the extension seems to be activated. So i think everything is ok. I made some tests and the extension is available thru ezP. But i wonder why the error message always appears. Is there any solution to fix that?

I just find out how to turn on debug.
<i>file_exists() [<a href='function.file-exists'>function.file-exists</a>]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/eztemplateautoload.php) is not within the allowed path(s): (/srv/www/vhosts/************/httpdocs:/tmp) in /srv/www/vhosts/*************/httpdocs/lib/eztemplate/classes/eztemplate.php on line 2216</i>
I should turn off open_basedir?

You must edit your php.ini and search for the open_base_dir value. Just add the eZRoot inside like :open_base_dir = "/mydir/myotherdir/:/mydir/ezroot/"

BTW. John, do you have eZ Components available? That's a requirement for automatically activating extensions in eZ4.
