Does anyone have any tips for viewing the most recently created content with the admin site?

The content tree-menu is too big, so I get Fatal error: Maximum execution time exceeded and need to keep it minimised, but I want to know if anyone has created comments etc.

Any ideas greatly appreciated.

You can fetch only objects of definied class or to definied depth. Look into contentstructuremenu.ini

I hope it will help

Thanks Lukasz, I wasn't aware of these ini settings, but I'm sure they'll turn out to be useful.

In this case I don't think these settings will help though: I've added 'Enable Comments' to the Image Class (and code to the Template) and I have quite a lot of Images. I wanted to track if anyone has posted any Comments.

At the moment I'm just querying the database, but I'll post a reply if I come up with something better!

Thanks, John
PS Great product though. Has been very easy to set up for someone new to both PHP and Content Management!

Hi John,

That`s great that you enjoy eZ publish :-)

You can use notification system to get information about new content. You will recaive a e-mail when new object was created in your site.

notification.ini is a configuration file.
