Good Morning, I am very new to EZ publish and have spent a few hours as part of a 'can this CMS work for us' intiative and hoping you can help me! I apologize in advance if my questions seem very basic but these are fundamental questions I need answered before I can go further in my testing. The application appears to be very powerful and robust but also overwhelming and potentially confusing for 'newbies'. The web interface is a wonderful, easy and quick way to create content but I do have some concerns about it. It appears as though the content created through this interface is available to all users that have access to the site and does not appear to be controlled by rights/permissions. Am I correct in assuming this or did I miss some way of 'permissioning' the content created through the web interface so that it's not all 'public'? I am slightly concerned (due to it's 'appeared' complexity) that our content administrators will have to use the administrative interface to assign permissions to the content. Ideally, those users would be able to create a piece of content and easily choose the groups/users that have access to it. Perhaps I am overcomplicating it and there is an easier way to accomplish this?Thank you very much for your time and consideration.Sylvie

Hi Sylvie,

Welcome on the eZ Community Portal. About your question, permissions on Content is possible through what is called Sections. There is a good documenation page about Sections which will explain in detail, see:
