Has anyone managed to get email notification for workflow approval to work so that an email is sent to the administrator?Roxanna

Approval notification doesn't necessarily send an email to the administrator. It only sends a notification to the parties involved in the approval and then only if they've ticked the approval notification box under "My Notifications".
The feature does work, even with customised approval events.

Thank you for your reply. When you say "send notification to those involved" are you taking about an email notificiation to their email account? Because if that is the case, it still does not work for me.i have notification settings enabled and hava an approval workflow for two sections.

Roxanna,
Do you have runcronjobs.php running?
Besides all setting mentioned here, you have to execute that script to process all events and notifications.
