file number limit per class?

I noticed that depending on your php.ini file you can not attach files bigger than 2MB, unless you change this line in the php.ini, but is there also a limit in the number of files you can upload at the same time? How does eZ behave? (I need a large number of files per class, let's say 16 to 24 small pdf files, am I crazy?) TIA!!! Can you feel it Mr. Anderson? Closing in on you?
