Forum Notification E-mails: Threading Broken Again

Threading of messages sent from the forum is broken as most posts now have different subjects than the topic to which they are responding. Could you please set up the notifications to use the main topic for the subject? I would be happy to see the elimination of unique topics for responses as I don't think they are needed. If a reply requires a separate title, then perhaps it shouldn't be a reply, but rather a new topic altogether.

Thanks,

Alex

Another alternative might be as simple as pre-filling the subject line with "Re: [Main Topic Title]".

Thanks again,

I second the removal of the title. Or, a default text used. Or, the removal of the title being required - if left blank a reply to the main post is used...

I have to put in a title, on my 1024x768 screen I can't see the original title, so i have to enter something else. The auto-sizing of the text for the breadcrumbs may be the main problem here. I may be open a new window, navigate to the original post to see the title but thats a little too unusable.

I've added this as it was. It was a mistake.

The subjects will now be "suggested" and the main message shown.
