Hi,
Is there any way to define image filter, that accepts parameters from template? I need to add a text to images displayed from template. Text is generated in template. Any ideas?

If you use attribute_view_gui to display a image of the Image datatype, you can pass variable to it. That is done like this:
{attribute_view_gui attribute=$node.data_map.my_image text="This is a passed string"}
Inside the view of the datatype (/content/datatype/view/ezimage.tpl) the variable $text is then available.

Hi Kristian,
unfortunately that is not exactly what I need. What I need is image.ini related problem. In this file you could define Filters[] ie. command line commands for imageMagick. In filter definition you could use parameters. Then in [image class] section in this same file you could define the use filters and provide values for attributes. However as I see the actual value of attribute must be provided in image.ini. My question is if there is any way to provide the value in template and get image generated with that value of parameter

So, you are thinking of doing something like specifying the size of the image from the template. As far as i know, there is no way to do what you want without changing the kernel/libraries.
