Hi!

I want to create some custom tags for the ezpublish Online Editor and everything works fine except of one thing.

When I use the custom tags inside the Online Editor there only appear a button with a question mark on it. I would like to display the custom tag like it is done for the factbox sample at Version 3.6 tag.

Here the code from my content.ini file:

[CustomTagSettings]
AvailableCustomTags[]=mytag
IsInline[mytag]=true

And here the code from mytag.tpl

<div align="center">
<table bgcolor="#eeeeee">
<tr>
    <td>
    {$content}
    </td>
</tr>
</table>
</div>

Any ideas?

Displaying content of inline tags is not currently supported in OE. But we are going to implement it.
If you want to see content now like it is done with factbox, use a non-inline tag.

Hi Kirill!

Thanks for the fast reply. I followed your recommendation and changed my content.ini file to:

[CustomTagSettings]
AvailableCustomTags[]=mytag

Now the tag is presented inline.

I have experimented with the custom tag functionality but after some I&#8217;m not really sure that I&#8217;m on the right way for my problem.

My Task:
I want to insert an image as a related object into the online editor. This works great! But now I want to assign a caption to the image.

Of Course I can use tables to position a caption under the image. But is there more elegant way in the Online Editor to assign a caption to each image?

Can I add new attributes to the related object class and display them in modified template?

Thank you in advance.
David

I have solved it!

Related Objects are instances of the image class and there you find the attribute: caption.

I added the caption text to the image class and now it is displayed under each image.

But where is the right template that can be overridden?
