M Tonissen	Wednesday 09 August 2006 4:22:57 am The installation notes state that allow_url_fopen = on. My host forbid this setting based on security reasons. Can EZ Publish run with "allow_url_fopen" disabled?? What problems could be expected??

The setup wizard downloads eZ publish site packages from the internet, which doesn't work with that setting off. But you can still manually download them (see http://ez.no/community/forum/install_configuration/how_do_i_retrieve_all_packages_for_my_3_8_install ).
