Lex 007	Tuesday 12 April 2005 2:18:30 pm Hello, I am experiencing big difficulties to install eZ Publish 3.5.1 on OVH (home page gives a 403 error; URL have a index.php?/...). This site successfully works on my Windows test server, but the .htaccess file handling on OVH is a bit tricky. Another issue is the mail sending configuration. Can someone help ? Thx
Łukasz Serwatka	Thursday 14 April 2005 1:21:50 am Do you uses eZ publish install wizard? Have you tried manualy setup the site? PHP in CGI mode is not recommended from speed reason. I programmed my site under Windows with Wamp (and it works fine there), and then uploaded the whole site, without using the install wizard. Should I try to run the wizard from OVH ? Actually, I tried it without .htaccess file and ... it works ! I read this page : http://www.ez.no/ez_publish/documentation/configuration/configuration/ez_publish_running_on_a_cgi_version_of_php Does this mean it will be impossible for me to have nice URLs (such as : www.mysite/fr/documents/ ) with the CGI mode ? By the way, the site is http://www.bluequartz.fr

Do you uses eZ publish install wizard? Have you tried manualy setup the site? PHP in CGI mode is not recommended from speed reason. Try also without .htaccess file.

Actually, I tried it without .htaccess file and ... it works !
