Hi All,
I am now trying out eZ Publish for 2 weeks now and I must say that it is very nicely designed. I have almost completed my first fully blown website with it,.. but I still have one problem with packages. For some reason, I am able to upload packages to the system but then something strange happens. When go to SETUP-> PACKAGES-> EZ-SYSTEMS and click on 1 of the packages then according to the documentation there should be an INSTALL button at the bottom of the page. However, the only button that is visible is EXPORT TO FILE. It does not matter which package I open... the install button always seems to be missing. If a package was already installed, then an UNINSTALL button is properly shown. Does anyone know what's wrong with my installation? Thank you in advance, Greetings,Floris.

Hi Floris,
There should be a button to import a new package, if you use that, and the package is imported that will be the moment the Install button shows. No need to select a package. It is also described in upgrade docs, for example see http://ez.no/doc/extensions/website_interface/website_interface_1_6_upgrade and look for the part where they upload and install packages.

Hi Robin,
I am also facing the same issue when I try to install a new package.
My version is 4.3.0. In both cases(on completing the Import a new package process and Clicking on the imported package) it takes me to the same details page. It shows only the 'Export to File' button as Floris said. Is it hidden like some of the menu tabs in 4.3? I looked over the INI settings(package.ini) but I could neither figure out a place to enable the install button nor I could find a documentation about missing install button any where in the web.
Please advice.
Kind regards,
Mohan.

Hi Mohan,
Can you tell me which package you are trying to install? Can I download it?
I just tried this procedure on eZ 4.4.0 alpha and it worked. I'll install 4.3.0. again and try to repplicate it but I'd like to do this with the package you are trying as well.
