Problem installing eZ on an Ensim server

After the system check, it`s time to connect to MySQL. I create a database, provide the setup with the right information, but when I click "create database" I get this message:

Initialization failed
The database could not be properly initialized.
No Database Selected
MySQL Error #1046
---------------------------------------------------------

Any sugestions?

(PS: MySQL and PHP are running just fine on the server).
