I have been developing a web site using ezPublish 2, and have got a lot of articles etc entered into the system. I would like to go to version 3 before I finally go "live". Are there some instructions on how to upgrade from 2.2.6 to 3 anywhere?
TIA.

We will soon release information about how to upgrade from 2.2.x to 3.0.
We are working on a database upgrade script for 2.2 -> 3.0 data migration.

Thanks. I don't suppose you have an ETA for that? I am being asked when I can have the v3 site ready :)

Do you have any timescale for the upgrade 2->3 script, or does anyone have anything that would allow me to import the articles from a 2 to a 3 system? I don't mind re-doing the other things, as long as I can import the articles.
Thanks.

We made two scripts for the ez.no site, one for users and one for forums. But the scripts are not general enough to be used for most people, you will have to do some tweaking to the code to get it like you want.
I unfortunately cannot give a date for when we will have a 2.2 -> 3.0 upgrade.

I just wanted to post this as a reminder -
there are a lot of people out there who *REALLY* would love to have a util that is capable of importing articles from 2.* into version 3.
Please?

I hate reading *me too*, but, darn it, me too. Is this script/utility any farther along? It would be really nice to have an upgrade path from 2.x to 3.x.

The script was released some time ago. You will find this on the contribution list. It does not import everything from 2.2, yet. Articles, users, forum, images and files are currently supported.
