How would I create an article template that can have images with alt tags, I'm currently re-designing our college website and this functionality is required for partially sighted potential students

Hi ..
there are image datetype, when input it in the forum, u will get 'Alternative image text' input, just write what you want there !

I'm using version 3, I can't see the option you mentioned

The alt tag field only appears after you add the image, store the article and then go and re-edit.
So the process for adding an alt tag is as follows.
1. Add image to article 2. Store article 3. Edit article 4. Add Alt tag5. Store Article.
It would be nice if the default Alt tag were a "*" as this would make life easier.
