Children of non-folder nodes

Hello everyone,

in eZ 3.2 I could create child elements in non-folder nodes. I used this to create an employee-hierarchy in our "Contact" Page, which is an infopace by itself. Now we updated to 3.3-4 and the page itself still displays fine, but I cannot access the child elements of the infopage anymore via the admin interface and the option to create child-elements in non-folder nodes is entirely gone.
Is there a way to restore this feature?
