The ezxmltext-fields I created with ezp2.9.7 are not rendered in ezp3.0-1. Are there changes in the xml-structure ?

See

But you may port your own tags (or some from the 2.2.x ezxml, did not look at it yet).

Yes there has been some changes, the change is in how the stored xml is encoded. You have to run the xml upgrade script (it was mentioned in the database_upgrade.sql).
Run php -C update/common/scripts/updatexmltext.php to fix the xml fields. A database backup is probably wise to do before this operation. You probably want to clear the search index tables and run update/common/scripts/updatesearchindex.php as well if you upgrading from 2.9.x versions.

...in just replacing my former calls to ezxml-content in all templates from {$object_foo_bar.data_map.ezxmlfield_foo_bar.content.output.xhtml} -- which worked perfectly with ezp 2.9.7 -- to this one:{$object_foo_bar.data_map.ezxmlfield_foo_bar.content.output.output_text}Now I find that everything seems to work as one would expect in ezp 3.0-1.
However, I am going to follow the hints you provided. I think I should understand better what's going on with ezxml. Thank you both for your valuable comments, Tony and Jan. Kind regards to you from Berlin in the hope for better times to come in this world.
