Hi all,

I'm very new on ezPublish and I need some help.

I'm working on a ezPublish site that can be accessed throw intranet or internet. The home pages and some templates are different wether you are connected throw the internet or the intranet.

I really don't know how to redirect internet and intranet users on the correct home page and how to use the correct template wether your are connected on the internet or the intranet site.

Any ideas ?

Thanks for your answers

Jérôme

Hi Jerome,

I've done this in a number of scenarios like this:

1) the intranet and internet sites each have their hostname (e.g. intranet.nysite.com and www.mysite.com)

2) <i>settings/override/site.ini.append.php</i> is set up like this (excerpt):

[SiteAccessSettings]
AvailableSiteAccessList[]=www
AvailableSiteAccessList[]=intranet
MatchOrder=host
HostMatchType=map
HostMatchMapItems[]=admin.hero.no;www
HostMatchMapItems[]=info.hero.no;intranet

3) www and intranet have each their siteaccess:

<i>settings/siteaccess/www/site.ini.append.php</i>

[SiteSettings]
SiteName=Mysite
SiteURL=www.mysite.no
IndexPage=/content/view/full/2

Node 2 is the start node of the www site.

<i>settings/siteaccess/intranet/site.ini.append.php</i>

[SiteSettings]
SiteName=Mysite
SiteURL=intranet.mysite.no
IndexPage=/content/view/full/155

Node 155 is the start node of the www site.

4) use different sections for www and intranet and limit access to the intranet section

5) make a seperate pagelayout for the intranet section

That's it! This is only one way to do it, there are plenty more I'm sure.. but I hope it helped you anyway.

Hi Felix
thanks for your answer.
I try your solution and it works.

But I still have problems to limit the acces of some part of the site for the internet.

If you always use anonymous login on both internet or intranet site, how can you limit some part of the site with Section. You should have something like "siteaccess" restriction, instead of restriction based on users and section ?

Do you have an idea to solve this problem ?

regards
