I want anonymous users to be able tho add products in their basket and view it's contents. <b>But when they choose checkout they should be forced to register a user to continue the process.</b>
I'm unable to get this working in 3.6, is it possible?
Thanks in advance :)

have you tried user accounts, roles and policies set:
shop all functions No limitations
for anonymous users?

Thanks for your reply :)
This seems to produce the same result as having the policy, shop -> buy on Anonymous role. This works but it still does not force the user to register.
<i>What I really want to happen when the user checkout is a redirection to /user/login.</i>
Me best guess is that this can be done with policies but I'm unable to find the correct combination.

I think I got a little to hung up in policies. I think the solution is to use a different </i>shopaccounthandler</i>. (This setting is found in the shopaccount.ini file)
<b>I've tried using ezdefault, but then I'm no longer able to add items to the basket and/or view it.</b> Even though I give anonymous user no limits in the shop module
<i>Do I have to roll my own shopaccounthandler?</i>

<b>No new handler is needed ezdefault seems to do the trick</b>, what I experienced was as follows (and I must say it behaves a bit strange):
- Add products - View basket- Checkout
on checkout /user/register is shown, if you ignore it and contine to add products in your basket your are no longer able to view it's contents .....
Script start
Module start 'content'
Module end 'content'
Script end
