Hello,

I've to modify the actual pagelayout.tpl containing the template of the website I work on.
Whatever I write in it, like adding some text in a div, it does not work : the template is still the same and my text that I added does not appear.

I've restarted apache, I've cleared all the caches of my navigator (firefox & internet explorer) AND those of ezpublish, I've even restarted the webserver... but the problem is still here.

What can I do ? Do u have any ideas ?

Thanks a lot :)

PS : I'm working on ezpublish 3.9.2, on LAMP (apache2.0, php4.4).

Well, I found the solution:

I had a problem in the cache management, so I forced ezpublish to regenerate all the caches => delete the directory /var/www/YOURSITE_ez/var/plain_site

And it works !

if you delete "var/plain_site" (where 'plain_site' can be ''ezwebin_site', 'ezflow_site' or similar depending on you setup), then you also delete your storage (images / video's / packages)..

So you might want to look into the var/<site_dir>/cache/ folder in the future..

Had the same problem.

The solution of Gérard Bouchard worked for me to.
As I am at the very beginning I lost only two hours to wonder wy what seems so easy on the paper doesn't work.
Hope things become easier now...

Just a thought, make sure you are modifying the right pagelayout.tpl. If you are using the Website Interface, it is under /extensions/ezwebin/design/ezwebin/templates/pagelayout.tpl
