Override on parent_node ?

Our "line view" template for articles does not show the publish and modification time, as we usually do not need this.
But for some "news" folders, we want to override the line view template for "article", matching on parent_node .
The documentation tells us, that this is possible (http://ez.no/developer/ez_publish_3/documentation/customization/custom_design/override_templates), but it does not work for us.
The Template-Match-Block in override.ini is at the second position (just after the pagelayout override for that siteaccess), but still, the "general" override template for articles for that siteaccess is used.

So: Has anyone had success with overriding on parent_node?
If so, please provide the full override.ini, if possible.

I saw some old postings here with persons having problems, but also some "success" postings.

PS: Yes, we cleared all caches ;)

Hm, it does not work still.
Can you please provide your override.ini snippet?
Did you just override on parent_node or did you combine it with class_id or so?
We just have tried overriding on parent_node ID, but it has no effect.
