When eZ runs, the server (Apache or IIS) is the user. You'll see nobody, or apache or in your case www as the owner of the file. Here are some ideas: Change the forum directory privileges to chmod -R 777 forum (it looks like the sticky bit is set on the existing one). You can use ftp to change permissions, too. Try moving the forum directory to see if that changes ownership to you (mv forum new_forum and then mv new_forum forum). If that doesn't work, delete the forum and create the directory on the command line (mkdir forum) or with ftp. Once the forum directory is created, with 777 for permissions, you should be able to use eZ to manage it.
