Sharing content

Hello

I am developing a site based on Greg McAvoy-Jensen tutorial; however, I am stuck on sharing content between the two siteaccesses. I tried to put the content on the top node which is Websites (as per the tutorial) but did not work then I tried to put the shared content under on siteaccess then add places and share it with other but still did not work. Any ideas?
