Hello there.
I'm trying to set up a simple site based on ezwebin but found two problems:
1. Regardless of what I set in properties of Folder class, the contents of embedded folders show in order of ID. The parameters just gets completely ignored. I worked around it by explicitely providing 'sort_by' in template code, but it's still a bit annoying
2. As far as I understand the i18n mechanism, if I have an object that is in one language only, it should not appear in other language unless the 'use the ain language if there is no prioritized translation' checkbox is set. And it works great but only if I want to filter out english content from polish site. It doesn't work the other way around - polish content is always shown if I don't have english version. I assume that I'm misunderstanding something but the question is - can I do it so that I can see only english content in english version and only polish content in polish version (only some objects exist in both versions).

OK. I'm answering myself here, but maybe it'll help someone. I resolved the second problem. It seems in eng siteaccess I had two languages defined in SiteLanguageList array. When I removed pol-PL from that array it seems to be working just as it should.

Hi Mariusz,

i know the first problem, as this regularly happens to us, when we use siteaccess for german.
The setting, that you do for the folder class is used as a default value, when creating a new object of this class. That means: Changing the "sort order" setting here will NOT change any object of that class, that already exist.
You can change the setting of each individual object in the admin interface, when you "view" the object. There is a "sort by" dropdown list below the list of child object. I guess, this is set to something like "object ID" or -even worse- "class id" or "class name".
IF your newly created objects still have the wrong sort order, AFTER you changed the class definition, it's probably a bug. Maybe it's the one, that i had reported here: http://issues.ez.no/IssueView.php?Id=14341&activeItem=3
Which version of ez are you using?

Oh, I thought that sort order in admin panel applied only to how the objects are shown in that panel. Thanks for the tip, I'll try it.
(and I'm using the current version - 4.1.0)
