upgrade site - Export/import of site content ?

Looking to a easy way to upgrade a developement site from 3.3-4 to 3.4 beta 1, i found in the "Highlights of eZ publish 3.4" the iten "Export/import of site content".

This seens a solution to export in the 3.3-4 engine and then import the site in the new version.

I cant see any visible options in the admin interfaces to do this.

Can someone point any solution ?

Hi

3.3 only supports import/export of content classes, while the new 3.4 supports import/export of content objects as well ( including binary files, images, etc. )

Hey Kåre,

I obviously didn't read the 3.4 changelog properly!

What are the new files - I'd like to have a look to find out how they are exported (xml)

How does the export content object etc handle node conflicts? IE if node id's are already taken, or does it just create new ones by default?

I havn't tried import/export yet, so you'll have to wait untill an ez Systems guy gets round to replying to this forum.

Whats the bug titled by the way - I'll have a quick look at it.
