New to Ez, finally expired my phpnuke. I configured eZ as a Shop and tried all the included skins as well as others which should only have a top bar. It never changes from both top and left menu navigation when configured to do so in the Menu Management - Menu Positioning. Is this a bug, is there additional configuration or do I need to hack out the left menu? If I need to hack it, whats the best aproach, override?
The rest is quite good, I've very pleased.

Given the above, what would be the correct place to pull the left side menu out of the code? The file /design/standard/templates/page_mainarea.tpl references $module_result.content but I havent found where that is gerenated yet. Anyone?

The menu will be included in templates/pagelayout.tpl. Search for {menu name=LeftMenu}.

Are you selecting the Right SiteAccess while changing the menu in the Menu Management?
If you are trying to change the menu for your public site, do select the public site from the SiteAccess options.
cheers.

Kristof, thank you. I've been looking in /standard instead of /base all this time but you got me back on track - and fixed :)
John, the select box for SiteAccess only has one element - "shop_admin". Could this be a result of installing the shop in "/" rather than "/shop/" or might this be a bug in the latest version? I think I stumbled on an ini file with just this element, perhaps I need to add an entry to correct this.
Thanks for everyones help, I'm begginning to get a bit more comfortable with the architecture and the reasons behind its layout. I still need to get my head around implementing overrides rather than editing core files.
