hi all yes, i know that i have to be more clear! :) i'm starting to work with workflow adn i've seen in the documentation that there is the multiplexer one that starts various other workflows.i setup an "approval" and a "wait until date" workflow event and i put them in a single workflow. the result is that first is executed the approval one, then the other. all works ok. what is the difference between "my" solution and a multiplexer workflow?
best regardsalessandro

I think that the multiplexer allows you to execute differents workflows on conditions. For example, you execute the workflow 1 for the section 12, the classes 'folder' and you execute the workflow 2 for all other sections.
When you put different events in one workflow, the events are executed one after the other.
