I think will helpful if the admin can see the old and modified node under 'Collaboration' to make the approve !
Or to see the changes or the difference between the old one and the new one.

We have talked about adding support for 'diffing' to object versions to see what has changed. It would be great for the community doc as well, to see what was changed between each version.
When we will have time to make it is an entirely other matter, I know at least it won't make it into 3.2.
