Keyword search logic

Could we have a feature where you can turn on left str logic on a class.
i.e if you enter a keyword as "cloud" the keyword search system should also find "clouds".

It could be as simple as matching the first part of a word or maybe in time some fuzzy logic routine.

Partial Word matching and wildcards would be immensely helpful! There is a lot of pressure for me to install an engine that provides these capabilities, but I would prefer to use the one built into eZ publish.

Does sql support wildcards when searching for a match? Im no expert with sql (mysql/postsql) so not sure if allowing a '*' through will have the desired effect.

There is a bug report for some of this:

It sounds like it should work in 3.2...
