Head on to http://issues.ez.no/IssueView.php?Id=18152 and get the much improved translation checking script - it will help find out subtle but common errors in translation files

Hi Gaetano,
this script is a good idea. I have not tested it yet but I will while translating extensions in French.
In addition, I think it misses one feature that would be very interesting for translations consistency between extensions and the kernel. In fact, several extensions provide templates override so there are the same strings with the same context in several extensions and in eZ Publish itself and unfortunately sometimes the translation differs from one to another... it would be nice if the script can alert the translator that the same string in the same context is translated differently between two translations.ts file. And I even think it would also makes sense to inform the translator that the same string in 2 different contexts have a different translation. The later would be a notice (sometimes it's normal, sometimes it's not...)
Cheers

Hi Damien, all valid points. For now it's only a one-ts-file-at-a-time script, but I plan to implement more stuff in the eztranslationtools extensions. Wanna join?
