Hi,

I use EZ4, php5, Msql 5.0.45.

Since last week, each time I add a new content in my Site, CPU usage grows up to 80~90% and I have a EZ Publish Fatal Error: Too many Connections.

During a period of time (15min -> 1hour) my site shows me this error, then everything becomes normal again, and CPU usage by mySql goes down.

To see what happen, I have installed Munin to have a monitoring tool on my serveur.
I see that the "cache" section use a lot af RAM each time the error occurs.

I also noticed that many many apache2 tasks runs at the same time... I don't know if it's linked...?

Thanks for your help.

How much traffic do you have? Is it a big site?

If so, then you should look into tweaking viewcache.ini rules and template code for cache blocks (to use ignore_content_expiry parameter) so that not too much cache is cleared when you publish content.
