We have modified some of the ezwebin classes by adding new attributes to those classes. Now our client wants to upgrade to version 4.2 or 4.3, not yet decided on which.

How can we best go about preserving our added attributes in the classes (both attributes but more impotantly all object data.?

If we upgrade ezwebin , i realize we may have to add the necessary attributes again, but do we lose our data as well? If so how can we go about solving such a issue. There has to be ways to upgrade to newer versions without being trapped?

Hoping a migration extention or similar could be used , if the ordinary way does not work..

Thanks for getting back to me.

No one has really responded to my questions though.

Will i lose the additional content (that is my new fields which are not apart of the classes released in ezwebin), or will these simply stay in the db and be readily available if i add the same fields for a new release?
