hi,
i've just noticed ezp requires php 4.4.4 whilst previous releases only needed 4.4. my shared server is currently running 4.4.2 so i'm wondering if i'll get anywhere with that.
could any ez crew tell me why 4.4.4 is necessary?
has anyone had any joy with 3.9 on <4.4.4?
cheers

I am running 3.9.0 on 4.4.2 :-)
Where does it say that it requires 4.4.4 by the way?

The long story:
PHP 4.4.0 doesn't work very well (at least not on windows). PHP 4.4.1 is buggy and should simply be avoided. (loops do not work correctly) PHP 4.4.2 have 4.4.3 have various security issues, So 4.4.4 is strongly recommended.
Besides that, eZ publish should work on 4.4.2 and newer
