How to get e-mail to work?

Maarten Holland	Friday 25 February 2005 7:19:46 am Hi all, I've installed several versions of eZ on different SuSE Linux versions and never got the e-mails (like notifications) to work. I've read that e-mails are sent out using runcronjobs.php. Is that true? Do I need to compile with CLI to run that script? Are there specific settings next to the mailsettings in site.ini that I need to tweak or adjust? I hope anyone can help me since I've had this problems for over a year now and really want to finally solve them! Thank you in advance, Maarten
