I know that newbie questions like this can be frustrating, but I'm still having trouble getting 4.0 to install. I tried importing the "blog_site.ezpkg 1.0-2" package as part of setup and get this:
Error: Download of package 'weblog' failed. You may upload the package manually. Remote repository URL: http://packages.ez.no/ezpublish/4.0/4.0.0
If someone wouldn't mind holding my hand with my setup, I would greatly appreciate it. Also -- does the EZ Publish community offer coders for hire in any way?

Just a follow-up, I discovered where you can download the package files, but am still having trouble getting through the install process. I don't understand "you may upload manually" error. Can you guide me through that?

Brian,
The process for importing a package is described here:http://ez.no/doc/ez_publish/technical_manual/4_0/features/packages/importing_packages_to_the_system
The eZ Publish community has many developers available to code for you; you can search the directory here:http://ez.no/partner/worldwide_partners
