Hi.
I've installed eZpublish on a LAMP(Kernel 2.6, Apache 1.3.3, PHP 4.4.1, MySQL 4.1.14).
I've run the setup wizzard with almost no problem, but after the setup is commpleted, I try to access the site ( www.bracketmedia.net/intranet ) and I get a 500 Internal Server error. When I checked the errorLog, ther was this line:

Premature end of script headers: /home/wwwbrac/public_html/intranet/index.php

Does anybody knows what's the error????
I'm getting kind of desperate with this soft.
Thanks

Your environment seems to be not properly working...

LAMP(Kernel 2.6, Apache 1.3.3, PHP 4.4.1, MySQL 4.1.14)

You probaly have either bugs in your environment or it is not properly configured.

Have to tried to set it up on a different server? E.g. your local pc?

I'm getting the same error when I try to install ezpublish 3.7.3, but the error comes when I try to access the index.php file, that is, before the installation wizard runs.

I uploaded the .exe and unzipped it inside the /public_html directory.
After unzippiing, I renamed the ezpublish folder to "siteintr"

These are the entries from the server log for the internal server error:

[2006-02-01 00:43:06]: error: directory is writable by others: (/usr/home/meigroup/public_html/siteintr)
[Wed Feb 1 00:43:06 2006] [error] [client 24.207.91.51] File does not exist: /usr/home/meigroup/public_html/500.shtml
[Wed Feb 1 00:43:06 2006] [error] [client 24.207.91.51] Premature end of script headers: /usr/home/meigroup/public_html/siteintr/index.php

I really don't know where to begin looking for the solution to this problem.

Any help would be appreciated.

Error messages such as: "error: directory is writable by others" is related to the permissions on either the directory or file in question. Set the permissions accordingly, or ask your webserverprovider to do this.
