New pagelayout for article view ?

Hello !

Finally I go on with ezPublish. (Could solve the url redirection problem - thanks for support - and can now fully appreciate to work with it. Great program.)

Would like to have a little help to customize the pagelayout. I want to show a left menu by defautl, but not in article view. How to manage this.

I guess that the pagelayout.tpl has to be modified to achieve this, but how ?

Unfortunately I can't write the code myself to switch in article view in "no left menu mode" and to keep it when not in article view.

Any help would be appreciated

Hi André

You can override pagelayout.tpl for class 'article' and remove a part of template code (with {menu name=LeftMenu} and change {$maincontentstyle} in <div id="maincontent" class="{$maincontentstyle}">
or
in your original pagelayout.tpl add code

{if $module_result.content_info.class_identifier|eq('article')}
 do without leftmenu
{else}
 with leftmenu
{/if}
